By creating checkpoints in the city of Sheberghan and entrance gates of the city, security forces have prevented the entry of terrorists inside the city, and provided security for the residents of the province.
Col. Abdul Wahid Wejdan, Jowzjan Police Commander, said they had been able to take positive action to ensure security in the provincial capital and districts of Jowzjan within the framework of Security Charter program.
According to him, by setting up checkpoints inside the city and entrance gates of the province, police have stopped irregularities and passage of criminals into the city.
Mr. Wajdan appreciates public cooperation with police and asks people to continue supporting security forces.
During interrogation at checkpoints in different parts of Sheberghan, Jowzjan police have removed tinted windows from dozens of vehicles.
