Fine grading of 9 km road in Aybak

Local officials in Samangan say that German GIZ organization has fine graded and poured gravel on a 9-kilometer road inside Aybak city in Samangan.
Speaking at the inauguration of the road, Samangan Governor Mohammad Dawood Kalkani thanked Germany for its cooperation in the infrastructure sector, adding that work started on Manqotan town’s road in Aybak six months ago and was completed and put to use today.
Mr. Kalkani also asked other donors to help Samangan in development and infrastructure projects.
Local residents, too, expressed their satisfaction with the road construction in the center of Aybak and thanked Germany.
Germany has mostly contributed in construction of schools and roads in Samangan, having already built several standard schools in Aybak and its outskirts.
