A four-day exhibition, called “War Victims’ Diary”, was held in the city of Pul-e Khumri with the participation of dozens of war-affected families, which ended this morning.
Salim, a member of Afghanistan Human Rights and Democracy Organization said the purpose of the exhibition was to call on the victims of war to share their memories and deaths of their family members with documents.
The only wish of the war victims was peace in the country and wanted warring parties to end conflicts, he added.
Zahra, survivor of a war victim, says she lost her father eight years ago, adding that only peace in the country can heal her wounds.
In this exhibition, family members of war victims shared pictures and other memories of their loved ones who were killed in war, calling on conflicting parties to reach an agreement and make peace.
